Join Our Team as a People Operations Leader
Location: Budapest, Hungary
The HR Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and service delivery of the regions’s transverse services (Employee Lifecycle, Benefits Administration, Reporting, Payroll management etc).
This is a unique opportunity to build a HR Transactional Services team for a standalone business and long term service delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for the ownership, design, expert support and service delivery for payroll & benefits. Leading the compliance, productivity and efficiency of payroll & benefits delivery across multiple countries. Organizing knowledge sharing to convey information about new approaches and best practices. Leveraging extensive expertise to influence a range of stakeholders and other providers to ensure delivery of strategic priorities. This role will also provide HR Manager support for our small team in Hungary.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and build a high performing HR Shared Services Team that drives results through a simple, easy to understand structure that makes HR adaptable and efficient. Leading the team through a significant period of transformation as we become a standalone organisation
- Drive ongoing improvements through standardising, automating and consolidating processes in support of HR strategy goals. Identify problem areas in service delivery processes, troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions
- Steer operational performance and service excellence within the HR Shared Service team and monitor performance of the team against defined performance/quality standards
- Responsible for the quality delivery of multiple payroll & benefit processes and service to the businesses.
- Team manages benefit/payroll queries from employees, managers and HRM’s in a timely, and professional manner. Correctly administers benefit/payroll processes.
- Accountable for the overall delivery of services for the countries in the service region meeting and striving to exceed KPI targets, and operating as an escalation point of contact for employees and partners across the region.
- Influences policy and ensures delivery within our HR function, linking with other COEs.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making, support employee engagement strategies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Enhance HR service delivery by ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in HR, Payroll, and Benefits Service Delivery.
- A Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in building and leading an HR transactional services team.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
