Poste
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Finance Manager based in Poland to manage the statutory accounts for Poland. Within this role you will be responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, intercompany, etc. for our entity in Poland. You will understand and interpret applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services. In addition, you will interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
Working closely with the country leader for Poland you will be the main contact for any finance queries related to the entity in Poland. By staying informed of industry trends that may influence work, you will influence the development of strategy within own area including control of resources and influences policy formulation as well as make recommendations to improve products, processes or services.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies. Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
- Preparation of the annual statutory financial statements of the entity. Responsible to ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently and in compliance with the country regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coordinate annual audits with Statutory Auditors.
- Oversee the Tax compliance monthly filling of desired returns and assessment specific to Poland.
- Preparing and submitting the Corporate Income Tax return, its appendices, and all legal related items with the support of an External Consultant for the final review before filling.
- Coordination and validation other tax declarations including VAT declarations with the support of the internal VAT team.
- Tax audits management in coordination with Tax Team
- Contributing to the compliance with tax and accounting rules, as well as to any internal audit leading to legal conformity
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for bankers, investors and company’s board of directors.
- Gets informed with the latest Statutory and Tax legislative changes in Poland and updates all stakeholders about the consequences of these changes. Makes sure and coordinates the update of systems and processes to ensure conformity with the new regulations
Profil
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This role requires significant experience in the Finance & Accounting Operations.
- The applicant must be a qualified Chartered Accountant and having extensive years of experience in audit, consolidation, and bookkeeping of a large company both Statutory and group accounting.
- Experience of using/in SAP environment is essential
- Experience in Taxation both Direct & Indirect taxation.
