Position

We are currently seeking a Service Engineer to join our Core Service Engineering team based in Norrköping. We are a one-stop shop for the engineering services on nuclear turbine equipment to support outages, parts, repairs and upgrades dedicated to the Nordics region. We leverage technical support from global teams whenever required to provide speedy & qualitative response to our customers.

 

As a Service Engineer you will face a broad array of technical questions. You coordinate turbine related questions from the site team or from the customer and answer on time and technically correct based on Arabelle Solutions standards and fleet experience.

The role will also require travel to customer sites for meetings and technical assignments when required. The extend will vary based on season, but the role is first and foremost office based.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide outage planning for the regional fleet of Steam Turbines. 
  • Collaborate and partner with sales/service directors, on site services, repairs centers, field engineers and other engineering groups to provide technical support and guidance
  • Author or contribute to the development of FSI procedures/ work instructions/ standards associated with this technology area.

Provide engineering services on customer sites in the Nordics

Profile

Qualifications 

  • Likely to have a Bachelor- or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent learning through experience
  • Experience of Steam Turbines and associated systems designs and operations
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Ability to externally represent the company and engineering community in a proper way
  • Ability to understand and assess a broad array of technical questions
  • Ability and will to travel to customer sites for meetings and technical assignments when required as a natural part of the work
