Position
We are currently seeking a Overall Project Engineer (OPEM) to join our growing team in Poland. This role initially will be based in Belfort, France however it will then relocate to Poland. The OPEM has the Leadership, Quality, Technical, Schedule and Cost roles/responsibilities for the engineering scope of supply and/or services assigned to him/her from the Project take-over till close-out hand-over, ensuring compliance with corporate, sector and business directives and EHS standards.
The Overall Project Engineer has the Engineering lead of the project, as such she / he
- Is the Engineering point of contact for Customer, Project Director, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality,
- Coordinates Engineering project resources
- Is responsible together with the Compliance Team for Contractual Engineering compliance
- Is responsible to involve the right competences to solve issues on a project (Principal Engineer…)
- is ensuring that Nuclear Safety Items and Activities are identified, and that Engineering ITNS-A complies with project specific rules
- Develops, monitors, and coordinates engineering project schedules with project scheduler, with support of disciplines managers
- Controls the Engineering progress for his/her scope of work
- Is accountable for contractual requirements compliance and the approval cycle of contractual Engineering documentation
- Is responsible for the Engineering “On-Time Delivery” (OTD)
- Owns Engineering project Budget / Cost management with project cost controller (and disciplines managers support)
- Is the link with construction team to provide technical support during Execution phase up to Installation / Commissioning phases on Services projects
- Owns Engineering report out to Project Director and Engineering Leadership
- Is responsible to establish specific Engineering project procedures
- Is responsible for Engineering gates review and Design reviews on time completion and Action Items closure.
- Is ensuring Risk management tracking and escalation as needed
- Feedback into Lesson Learn tool for continuous improvement to be captured
- Identify, promote, participate in and lead process and improvement projects
Profile
Qualifications/Requirements
- Master degree in an Engineering discipline or extensive experience in the field of Engineering coordination.
- Demonstrable professional experience in Project Engineering or Power Plant Engineering.

Job Specifics
- This position requires travels abroad to interface with Client, suppliers, site…
- Fluency in English is mandatory both written and verbal.
