Job Description:
The Compliance and Safety Lead Engineer ensures that the design of the projects/products he/she is in charge comply with:
- The Arabelle Solutions Engineering rules and processes,
- The applicable Contract and local Technical Regulations and Standards (TRS)
- The applicable Contract and local EHS Regulations and requirements.
He / She is responsible tobtain design approval from NoBos (Notified Bodies), Third Parties, Country Authorities and tprepare the technical and safety files in conformity with the applicable directives and Country regulations in order tallow the declaration of conformity of the concerned products/assemblies.

Scope:
CSE Group is part of the Compliance, Qualification & Safety Engineering team in Arabelle Solutions organisation.
It ensures that the every functions deliver their documents and activities in compliance with the
Arabelle Solutions, Project, Regulations, Codes and Standards, Contract and Country requirements. It applies tall products of Arabelle Solutions.
Responsibilities:
The CSE Lead Engineer has the responsibility of the CSE activities on the projects allocated thim/her. He can be nominated Global Lead CSE, Product CSE or both on projects with associated relevant activities hereafter :
Support Tendering:
Review the RFQ:
- Assess the requirements and confirm feasibility. Identify any gaps/risks
- Comment and propose clarifications.
- Review Local countries specific requirments
- Determine expected deliverables
- Estimate work load.
Initiation of Project:
- Defined CSE EDM libraries, deliverables and activities related tCSE activities.
- Identify the applicable regulations, codes and standards (R, C&S) of attributed projects.
- Issue the technical Service Specification for regulations, codes and standards country analysis in accordance with the project schedule (acc. tinternal procedure GGG/00/M/——-EOM/WI/470)
- Identify the requirements of the applicable regulations, list the standards and issue the required Application Notes in accordance with the project schedule and ensure project team trainings about CSE NA:

- Define contractual and regulatory EHS requirement and issue the corresponding application notes in accordance with the project schedule and ensure project team trainings about CSE NA:

- Ensure that all participants have access tthe interface taccess technical standards & know how tuse it (acc. tGGG/00/M/——-EOM/WI/464)
- Initiate & coordinate the applicability analysis of R, C&S when required by the project management.
- Define the MTA management process of documents approval by Third Parties/NoBthrough

- Initiate and Manage the MTA PED Matrix of the project and ensure that every involved person is trained and autonomous tfill in the application, organize training if needed.
- Issue the technical specification for NoB/ Third Party certification/support enquiry when required

- Organize Level II meetings with NoB/ Third Party
- Issue NoB/ Third Party tender analysis (acc. tinternal procedure GGG/00/-/——-EOM/WI/483)
- Issue relevant CSE NA tcustomer and ensure agreement.
- Ensure that Engineering Team follow the planned WI, NA and Processes through internal assessments (refer tbelow “execution of project” part).
Execution of project :
- Organize and participate tthe required technical risk analysis reviews
- Ensure that the required risk analysis are issued by Suppliers. Check them and ensure that the remaining risks are addressed in the Operation and Maintenance Manuals / Instructions Notices.
- Edit, with technical support from internal Engineering teams, the regulatory risk analyses required for Arabelle Solutions’ products
- Follow NoB/ Third Party activity during the execution of the project(s)
- Support the product engineers on EC /EU and Country regulations application. Participate tLevel
- 2 meetings / KOM with suppliers.
- Support on EC /EU and Country regulations application for Arabelle Solutions’ products
- Analyse and identify solutions tsolve projects regulatory blocking points
- Ensure the watch up of standards during the project execution and inform the project management of any modification for further technical analysis.
- Organize required CSE design reviews (internal, with NoB/ Third Parties, Client or Suppliers)
- Check the adequacy and the conformity of the technical data with EC/EU directives & regulations as well as Country regulations
- Collect the technical information from the project organisation, check the EC/EU directives & regulations as well as Country regulations lists received from the suppliers (for application ttheir scope of supply) and fill in the EU / Country certification and EHS files if required
- Coordinate the MTA PED Matrix completion by internal stakeholders of the project
- Be accountable tproduce the complete regulatory technical file(s) for Arabelle Solutions’ products
- in the format required by NoBos, Third Parties, Authorities and obtain their agreements
- Proceed tinternal audits/assessments regarding application of requirements of R, C&S
- Participate t Qualification of design services Providers according t internal procedure: GGG/00/M/——-EOM/WI/003
- Collect & fill in LL in the associated database
Onetime delivery responsibilities:
- Ensure that CS set-up is completed at the latest 3 Months after LNTP/NTP.
- Ensures that CS activities are delivered on time as per EDM.
- Ensures CS Monthly progress reports and KPI are issued on time.
Job exceptional characteristics:
- Identify the Human Factor implementation impact on projects & initiate associated note of applicability & follow-up of associated activities
- Travelling on site, suppliers’ facilities, customer offices for coordination
- Meeting with customer for its scope of responsibility on Project director or PEM
Authority:
The Compliance & Safety Engineer reports tthe Compliance, Qualification & Safety Leader. Operational report of the CSE on project is made tthe Project Engineering Manager.
Area(s) where the position holder is the decision maker:
- Technical choice when EU/national certification or EHS is impacted
- Hold point if Product regulatory compliance is questioned or at risk.
Area(s) where the position holder provides recommendations:
- Choice of the NoB/ Third Party.
- He/she is working with all internal Engineering teams of Arabelle Solutions and is referent for C&S accesses.
- He/she will have access tall project information / documentation necessary tfulfill the tasks and responsibilities.
Key performance Indicators:
- CS Process KPI.
- CS NA set up 3 months after LNTP/NTP.
- Monthly Progress report on time.
- NCR and DCR related tlocal country Regulations.
