Job Description Summary:

 

The Production Supervision Manager (Generator shop) is responsible for the management and integration of shop activities to ensure quality products are delivered as required by the business. In addition they are knowledgeable on current manufacturing technologies, evaluate those technologies for the Generator business and demonstrate appropriate leadership behaviors to guide the team.

 

Your Role:

 

  • Daily management of Generator manufacturing shop (stator bars, core stacking, stator winding & generator assembly).
  • Control, Organise, monitor production operations as per plan, implement corrective action as necessary.
  • Make recovery plan for delays, implement, and ensure targets agreed are achieved.
  • Drive and coordinate the execution with (SQDC)Zero deviation in Safety and Quality, Ensure alignment of different stakeholders to achieve OTD & shop Utilization. Demonstrate appropriate leadership behavior to guide the team and standard work
  • Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.
  • Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline, ensure maximum efficiency and productivity as well as minimization of delays.
  • Leads and coaches team members in a positive manner to maximize their potential and their contributions to key performance goals for the company.
  • Assists in production scheduling to ensure optimal utilization of equipment and people for best possible results
  • Closely work with Process engineer for any improvement on current manufacturing process/new upcoming projects
  • Identify training need of the team based on the skill assessment and new project requirement.

  • Ensure correct allocation of resources to make the Lean concepts deployment a success, make problems visible, and allow problem solving to take place.
  • Lead and guide the team to develop & execute objectives for self & others with alignment to short-term & long-term business goals of the organization.
  • Active participation in FMEA and ensure all relevant risks are identified and mitigated before execution of process
  • Identify training need of the team based on the skill assessment and new project requirement.
  • Understanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity) & driving the nuclear safety culture at floor.
  • Awareness of CFSI (Counterfeiting Fraudulent Suspect Items) and ITNS-I(Importance to nuclear Safety) & ensuring the nuclear culture with team members.

Profil

Basic Qualifications(requirements):

 

  • In depth knowledge of turbo generator/ SMR manufacturing including stator bars, core stacking, stator winding & generator assembly.
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering
  • Min 10-year experience in Generator and Generator Assembly Shop (Generator/Motors)
  • Well convergent with SAP/MTA/Microsoft Office & Ability to manage teams and drive them for desired outcome.
