Position

At the heart of Arabelle Solutions HR, for the Region, the Payroll Process Expert is responsible for excellence in execution in their field, being guardian of the process. Initially focusing on the transition of processes and services but always with continuous improvement and simplification in mind. Both participating in day to day activities but also running improvement projects for the function.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute the transformation plan to ensure day two standalone capability for your perimeter. Ensure SOPs are in place for all required processes and standards.
  • Design, co-ordinate or adapt the process & tools needed to ensure operational excellence, and compliance. 
  • Support employees, People Leaders, the HR team and other stakeholders with swift and accurate responses, including queries, analysis and provision of documentation. 
  • Establish and deliver against relevant KPIs eg Response time, quality of response, customer satisfaction etc. 
  • Act as the point of guardian of compliance in the evolution and deployment of processes and standards in your perimeter. 
  • Deploy  processes across the company as needed, ensuring quality training for stakeholders and clear roles and responsibilities.  
  • Be the technical and process lead for the tools and processes in payroll. 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of tools and systems to improve effectiveness and ease of use. Improvement plans developed and executed in line with business needs. 
  • Train and coach the team where needed to enable customer focused execution  and delivery against agreed KPIS.
  • Ensure collaboration with other process owners and stakeholders to achieve a joined up approach.
  • Actively participate in / lead HR initiatives / transformation projects including Kaizen events, tool development and deployment.
  • Deliver effective communications to all areas of the business as required, including for process changes, enhancements etc.

Profile

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of HR tools processes and interdependencies.
  • Proven ability to learn and manipulate new systems.
  • Understanding of HR concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of local labour law for the relevant countries and legal/regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge in the field of Human Resources and significant experience required.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Oral and written communication skills in professional English.
  • Excellent command of Excel and other programmes such as Word and PPT.

  • Whilst not a direct people leader, you will be responsible for the delivery of your perimeter and you will be required to manage virtual teams.
