Poste

  • As SAP PI / PO Development Lead / Architect you will be responsible for the Implementation project for SAP PI / PO and any future upgrades or migration activities.
  • Governance of integration processes on middleware (SAP PO/CPI)
  • Architect and design integrations based on communication with all involved stakeholders (business, IT, security, 3rd party vendors etc.)
  • Develop integrations and interfaces between different modules of SAP ECC/S4HANA and other third-party solutions
  • Prepare technical specifications
  • Participate on solution architectures and estimations for proposals
  • Work closely with SAP functional SD, PP, FI, CO, MM etc.) consultant to deliver most fitting solutions

 

Skills:

 

  • Excellent skills on and experience in SAP Process Orchestration and Integration Suite, both in the build area (SOAP/REST/RFC/JMS/JDBC adapter, Message-, XSLT-, JAVA-Mappings, JAVA-Adapter-developments) as well as in the run area (SAP PI / PO administration and monitoring)
  • Basic skills on SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/IFlows, API Management, Event Mesh)
  • Basis skills on SAP S/4HANA and on ABAP developments (ABAP-OO, ABAP XI-Proxy-technologies, ODATA-Gateway services, RESTful ABAP Programming Model, SAP transportation model) OpenAPI / Swagger, http protocol, REST/SOAP , SSL, VPN
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English
  • Strong customer- and service-orientation and a can-do-mentality with a strong focus on results and deliverables
  • Proactive monitoring of SAP PI/PO components like the Adapter Engine, Integration Engine, System Landscape Directory (SLD), and more.
  • Using tools (like Runtime Workbench, Component Monitoring, various transactions, and logs) to analyse and resolve system errors and performance issues.
  • Troubleshooting communication failures, integration errors, and message processing bottlenecks.
  • Setting up and maintaining transport routes within the SAP landscape to move configuration objects (interface definitions, mappings, etc.) between development, test, and production systems.
  • Utilizing the Change and Transport System (CTS+) to manage and track software changes.
  • Applying granular security measures to protect sensitive integration data.
  • Analyzing performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
  • Tuning system parameters, message processing settings, and caching mechanisms to enhance throughput and reduce latencies in integration scenarios.
  • Ensure required systems validation standards with regards to design and test specifications are met.
  • Performs closing activities, including formal review and sign-offs with business stakeholders.
  • Prioritize team’s work and assign daily work tasks with limited supervision
  • Submits period forecasts, manages project and organizational financials by accurately tracking and updating expense status through period forecasts to ensure budget expectations are achieved

Profil

Qualifications/Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • SAP Certificates are a plus
  • 10+ years of SAP experience overall
  • Requires excellent English communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation
  • PI/PO Upgrade, Migration experience is must
  • Strong trouble shooting skills is important handling critical interface failures.
  • SLT, BODS knowledge is a plus
  • Deep understanding of dependencies between SAP Technical Development and other SAP implementation activities such as configuration, landscape and system planning and security.
  • Understands flow of business processes and supporting IT infrastructure (IDOCS, workflows, data exchange, interfaces)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP Charm, ITIL tools & processes project implementation and production support experience
  • Must have previous experience managing small teams and proven ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
  • Ability to work flexible hours based on varying business requirements
  • Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent
  • SAP Basis experience
