Position

Engineering of steam turbine and generator auxiliaries is part of systems engineering within Nuclear New Build. This organization is looking for an experienced Turbine Auxiliaries Engineer for nuclear power plant projects. He/she will cover the entire project implementation cycle, from design to commissioning.

Missions :

  • Be a technical leader on the projects that will be appointed to you.
  • Ensure the proper executions of projects concerning the auxiliary systems of the Nuclear Steam Turbines.

Design auxiliary systems is requiring :
•Knowledge of Components such as pumps, heat exchangers, pipes, valves, filtration systems, hydraulic actuators, pressure equipment safety accessories…
•The integration of these components within integrated and optimized systems in terms of security and reliability (for the development of P&IDs)
•The principles of operation and controls of these components and system (for the development of system files)
•Fluid mechanics and associated sizing
•Operational safety (HAZOP) and Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (FMD) studies
•Pressure equipment codes and standards
•Design of piping (and 3D installations) and management of interfaces with other plant systems

Review the contractual technical specifications and analyses the applicable regulations, norms and standards
Organize and/or participate in design and validation meetings for the various project execution phases
Contribute to the drafting and management of general and functional technical specifications of components/equipment, as well as guides and manuals, feedback from experience (REX), to the capitalization of know-how.
Ensure the follow-up of the project equipment suppliers.
Ensure the production and documentary follow-up, respecting Arabelle Solutions, quality and customer constraints.
Work in a team, show curiosity, have a taste for responsibility and very good oral and written communication skills.

As technical referent:
Participate in the resolution of design issues, the development of sizing tools and methodologies.
Support the commissioning of systems on sites.
Actively support the costing team in the tender phases.

 

Profile

Qualifications / Requirements:
General engineer or process engineer
A first successful experience in process engineering is desired
Ability to organize and be rigorous on complex multi-domain subjects.
Knowledge of thermodynamics.
Experience working in a global environment.
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
